National Portfolio Day is your opportunity to meet dozens of representatives from art schools across the country who will give feedback and guidance on your portfolio BEFORE you submit it. Bring your best and most recent work or works in progress. Don’t be shy! Ask questions. Get advice and inspiration and a “small taste of what it is like to attend a professional art and design program”.

The CTCL organization is offering $1000 to rising Freshmen who are applying to one of the 44 members colleges. The scholarship is renewable for four years.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR A SCHOLARSHIP TO COLLEGE:
Even if you’re not a straight-A, star athlete or student body president, the San Diego Foundation has scholarship opportunities for high school students (residing in San Diego County) if you have:
- Commitment to your education
- Potential for success in college
- Minimum GPA of 2.0
- Participation in community service, extracurricular activities and/or work experience
- Need of help to pay for school (including middle-income families)
National Portfolio Day is an excellent way for student-artists to get a professional look at their portfolios but also gain insight into what life at an art school is all about. NPD focuses on visual arts but many participating schools offer film, dance, music, game design, etc.
